English Language Learning
Creekside has been offering free English Language Learner (ELL) classes since 2006.
The classes are to help students learn and understand English using basic subjects with a bit of grammar, games, Total Physical Response, hearing, reading, speaking, and writing exercises. New things are taught each week, but the focus is on student needs and levels, rather than a preset curriculum. Students can come to learn, interact, practice and meet new friends.
Current classes are being offering:
- Mondays and Thursdays, 9:15-10:45 AM at the YWCA Family Village (16601 NE 80th St, Redmond)
- Thursdays, 7:00-8:30 PM at Old Redmond Schoolhouse (166th Ave & 80th St, Redmond)
