Office Manager


Position Purpose

Part Time (20 hrs per week)

The Church Office Manager manages the operations of the church office to support of the overall ministry of the church.

Responsible To

The Office Manager reports to The Lead Pastor.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage the Church Operations
    • Manage bookkeeping and payroll to make sure Creekside bills and income are accurately reported
    • Maintain the communications of the church: weekly FYI and worship program, flyers, all-church
    • Coordinate and maintain schedule the use of the church’s building and equipment
    • Oversee the maintenance of the church’s building including janitorial
    • Maintain the official records of the church, pertaining to attendance, finances, membership, minutes
    • Procure supplies for all operations as needed
    • Responsible for access & security management (keys, key cards)
    • Work with volunteers when available
    • Attend staff meetings on a weekly basis
    • Collaboration with Creekside staff on group projects
  2. Keep life in harmony with the Word of God, striving in word and deed to be a worthy example of Christian living
    • Maintain the highest integrity regarding spiritual and moral health
    • Intentionally practice spiritual disciplines in order to be intimately connected with God.
    • Pray regularly for Creekside, the Leadership Team and staff
    • Lead with authenticity in accordance with the Covenant Affirmations, Constitution and Bylaws of this congregation


  • Fully devoted follower of Christ and biblically qualified (1 Timothy: 3)
  • Strong love for people and a passion for mission both within and outside of the Creekside community
  • Self-motivated and Called to Pastoral Ministry
  • Relational versatility: able to work with staff members, team leaders, volunteers, members of the community, business vendors, and newcomers.
  • Excellent Communication skills– both written and verbal. Can communicate skillfully within and across the organization
  • Ability to continually looking for improvement and implement efficiencies
  • Discretion and good judgment with delicate personal information, and matters of confidentiality.
  • Flexible and willing to perform a wide variety of tasks and adjusting work hours as needed.
  • Organizational skills: managing schedules, files, finances and supplies.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, databases, CRM tool, email, web site management and desktop publishing.

Ministry Resources and Benefits

Creekside Covenant Church will provide office workspace and equipment as needed. Budgetary support will be established for all program expenses, materials and equipment. Expense funds will be available for reimbursable expenses such as ministry related use of a personal vehicle and business/ministry entertainment.
